Today was a wonderful day.
It was very relaxing and we had so much fun. Rachael and Annabelle took me to have my first “proper” British tea, and it was so great! Dolly’s Tea Room was such a cute little place with delicious tea, cakes, and sandwiches. I had Victoria Sponge Cake (vanilla cake with jam & cream in the middle) for the first time, which was INCREDIBLE. I’m not sure why this delicious item is not a common occurrence in America. I must learn to make it once I get home to the states. It was so awesome to spend time with Rachael and Annabelle, both talking about wedding things and seeing how happy they both were. I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life.
Then we stopped by a cute little plant store in the area, and Annabelle and Rachael both got some adorable new additions to their plant families. On the way back home, we stopped by the music store to look around and say hello to the resident pup, Bob.
Later, we hung out around the house, I had my first meat pie for dinner (again, why is this not more popular in America), and we spent the evening enjoying each other’s company and drinking the night away.
